Deanna Towns, LPC, LMFT

Vice President and Secretary

Deanna Towns is a licensed professional counselor in North Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, and is in her second year of doctoral studies in Counselor Education and Supervision at Regent University.

 

She has a wide variety of clinical experiences working with adults, children, couples, and families from a trauma informed perspective. She is skilled in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT) with those impacted by domestic violence, interpersonal violence, sexual abuse, and ritual abuse.

 

She has extensive experience conducting cross-cultural supervision and providing humanitarian aid efforts in Eastern Europe. She serves as the Executive Manager of the Cross-Cultural Supervision Project at Regent University.
